- To be competitive for admission, consider taking

- shadowing a PA
- volunteer/community service
- Direct patient contact hours are recommended. These include, but are not limited to: EMT, paramedic, scribe, nurse, medical assistant, ER tech, PT aide, pharm tech, clinical research assistant, phlebotomist etc.
