This course introduces the foundational principles of human anatomy and physiology, emphasizing the relationships between structure and function across levels of organization. Students explore the chemical and cellular basis of life, the characteristics and functions of the four primary tissue types, and the form and function of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. Through integrated lectures and laboratory experiences, the course builds a comprehensive understanding of how the human body maintains homeostasis and responds to internal and external challenges.
