This 30-hour MBA program is designed to equip emerging and experienced professionals with the strategic, analytical, and leadership skills needed to thrive in today’s dynamic business environment. The curriculum blends a strong 24-hour core with 6 hours of flexible electives that allow students to tailor their degree through specialized concentrations. The core covers critical areas such as leadership, economics, finance, marketing, operations, and strategy. With innovative courses such as Digital Operations and Supply Network Management and Marketing Analytics and Applications, the program emphasizes data-driven decision-making, digital transformation, and real-world application. Students can further differentiate their expertise through concentrations in high-demand areas such as AI-driven strategy, entrepreneurship, finance, healthcare administration, and nonprofit leadership. This flexible yet rigorous MBA prepares graduates to lead across industries, drive organizational success, and adapt to evolving global business challenges.
Time Limit
Students are required to complete all coursework towards the MBA degree within 6 years from the date of entry into the MBA program.
MBA Requirements
Complete all of the following courses.
- Students are required to take 18 hours of core courses.
- Note: MBA 6307 (Organizational Leadership and Ethics) should be taken in the first 9hrs.
- Note: MBA 6370 (Applied Strategic Management) is required to be taken in the last 9 hours.
Business Administration Electives/Concentration Option
Complete 12hrs from available MBA elective courses. A concentration can be earned by taking between 9hrs and 12hrs courses in a concentration area. Concentration areas and course options are the following:
- Accounting
- AI for Business Leaders
- Entrepreneurship
- Finance
- Healthcare
- Marketing
- Nonprofit Management

Students who seek a second concentration can apply no more than one course from the first concentration to the requirements of the second concentration. If there are no courses common to both concentrations, the student must take all courses for the second concentration.

Students who do not have a compressive business background, may be requested to complete all or several online modules below:

- Fundamentals of Business Statistics
- Fundamentals of Finance
- Fundamentals of Microeconomics
- Fundamentals of Macroeconomics
- Fundamentals of Management
- Fundamentals of Marketing
- Legal Environment of Business
New graduate business students with a GPA less than 3.0 will be required to complete online modules on:
- Business Communication
- Business Mathematics
Note: Alternatively, taking the 3-credit-hour MBA 5300 Bootcamp course below will satisfy the requirements for all the proficiency courses above (this does not include Business Communications and Business Mathematics).
