Study of the law as it pertains to the role of psychology in the legal system, including how the legal system intersects with professionalism and ethical standards. You will explore the functions and responsibilities of forensic psychology professionals in and outside of the courtroom. You also will explore the role of forensic experts in consultation and providing testimony in legal settings. These functions and roles include assessment and treatment approaches in cases of criminal, civil, and family law.
