Course explores theologically significant readings from the Medieval Era, with emphasis on the compatibility of faith and reason; authors include Anselm, Abelard, Aquinas, Catherine of Siena and Bonaventure. Students explore questions of redemption, the sacraments, and whether creation and reason allow us to know God.
