Particular attention will be given to Books I (General Norms), II (The People of God), and V (Temporal Goods of the Church), with selected canons from Books VI (Penal Law) and VII (Processes). The course will also introduce other important sources of ecclesiastical law where appropriate. Emphasis will be placed on the pastoral application of canon law in parish and diocesan ministry.
