Introduction to the physical principles, instrumentation, and applications of major biomedical imaging modalities. Topics include X-ray imaging, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and optical imaging. Emphasis on image formation, contrast mechanisms, resolution, safety, and quantitative analysis for diagnostic and research use.
