MIB 6318: Financial Management

The purpose of this course is to provide the student with a comprehensive study of the core concepts of financial management. Topics include financial performance evaluation, asset valuation, capital budgeting, risk and return in the context of the capital asset pricing model, capital structure theory, dividend policy, short-term financial planning and budgeting, and long-term financial planning and forecasting. This course introduces the student to corporate financial responsibilities and the methods required to effectively meet these responsibilities.
