This course introduces students to the principles and practices of analyzing scripts for performance, direction, and design. Through the study of various dramatic texts, students will develop skills in critical reading, structural analysis, character exploration, thematic interpretation, and the rhythm and pacing of language, with a focus on understanding how plays function in performance.
